Lean Hogs -

Hog futures were a mixed affair, down 37 cents to up $1.42. February was the strongest. The CME lean hogs index is at $108.96, up $0.66.

Soybeans settled 3 1/2 to 4 1/4 higher.  The USDA hike to 44 bpa for last years yield is reinforcing ideas that this year is 48 or higher
